West Ottawa boys lacrosse dominates Portage Central- High school sports rewind

The West Ottawa boys lacrosse team lost in the regional semifinals on Wednesday.

The West Ottawa boys lacrosse team came away with a massive 24-1 win over Portage Central on Saturday morning. 

The Panthers had 12 different goal scorers and 10 players with more than one point. Cole Tulgetske had four goals and four assists and Trent Mulder had four goals and an assist. Fischer Gager had a hat trick and one assist. Hayden Kollewehr had six ground balls and Julian Chavez led the D with four ground balls.

Zeeland West earns two wins Saturday

The Dux bats were on Saturday morning as they put up nine runs in the first inning and never looked back. They finished the game in three innings beating Cedar Springs 19-1.

Emily Brands collected the win on the mound for the Dux. She threw the three innings allowing an unearned run on one hit, striking out one and walking one.
