USC vs. UCLA score: Live game updates, college football scores, NCAA top 25 highlights today

Read Time:6 Minute, 21 Second

No. 7 USC takes a 34-31 lead on No. 16 UCLA into the fourth quarter of a critical Pac-12 showdown between the crosstown rivals. Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams is leading the charge with 378 yards passing and touchdowns both on the ground and through the air.

With star running back Travis Dye out for the remainder of the season due to injury, Williams is shouldering an even greater load than usual, and doing so with poise. The Trojans have scored on six of their last seven possessions and were driving deep into UCLA territory as the fourth quarter began. UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is playing through obvious pain and has been up and down throughout the game with three total touchdowns to go along with three costly turnovers.

With No. 5 Tennessee losing at South Carolina on Saturday night, USC’s path to the College Football Playoff is even more viable. But it’s paramount that the Trojans win out in order to have a chance at reaching the four-team field. A spot in the Pac-12 Championship Game is also on the line for USC, while UCLA can keep its hopes of qualifying for the game alive as well if can pull out the victory.
