The UMass Sports Insider Television Show Returns On August 26
AMHERST, Mass. – The UMass Sports Insider television show will return to the NESN airwaves this fall. The bi-weekly, 30-minute show will originate from the Massachusetts campus in Amherst and will feature a wide variety of Massachusetts Athletics programs, while highlighting the personalities and achievements of UMass student-athletes.
The UMass Sports Insider will be hosted by Director of Broadcasting and the Voice of the Minutemen Jay Burnham along with his co-host and recent UMass graduate Nathan Strauss.
“We are extremely excited to launch this show just in time for the football and fall sports season,” said Burnham. “Showcasing our stellar programs and amazing student-athletes will be our main focus, with an emphasis on highlighting all the championship momentum within the department. A big thanks to NESN for partnering with us once again to provide this platform and extensive reach. “
The show is set to air primarily on Wednesdays, with the season-opener launching on Friday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. on NESN. Replays of the show will air on NESN and NESN+ throughout the week. A tentative schedule of show dates can be found below. Dates and times subject to change, please check your local listings.
