Talk Business & Politics: Current state of family-centered legislation and the future of childcare in Arkansas | KLRT
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Arkansas’ firm pro-life stance has set the stage for major child and family-related legislation to be pushed in the upcoming general assembly. Those from related organizations pushing for such legislation spoke with Roby Brock on this week’s edition of Talk Business & Politics.
Talk Business & Politics host Roby Brock kicked off the show by meeting with Jerry Cox, President and Founder of Family Council, to discuss the issues his group intends to tackle during the next general assembly in January.
After meeting with Cox, Brock broke down the biggest headlines in Arkansas business and politics over the last week.
Then, Brock met with Laura Kellams, Northwest Arkansas Director of Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families (AACF). She told Brock about the work her organization is doing to make a difference in child healthcare and education in the state.
Talk Business & Politics airs Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on FOX 16. For more coverage, head to TalkBusiness.net.
