Coronado has so many opportunities to get active, be involved, and make connections, but sometimes it can be hard to know where to look. Here are summer activities in which you and your family can participate:
Junior Lifeguards: Youth can learn about the ocean/beach environment from Coronado’s own lifeguards developing friendships, confidence, and mental and physical fitness.
Hip Hop Camp: For beginners or experienced dancers, youth can come to learn the fundamentals of hip hop.
Summer Reading Program: Kids can stop by the Coronado Public Library for different events every Tuesday and Thursday, with teen events every Wednesday.
Free Twilight Open Bowling : Bring your family and learn the basics of lawn bowling while making new friends at Coronado’s very own lawn bowling area at the John D. Spreckels Center.
Concerts in the Park: Every Sunday join the community for free concerts at Spreckels Park with bands changing every week showcasing a wide range of music.
For more activities, visit the Coronado Times Calendar or check out the Coronado Community Center’s Summer Brochure.
