NEW YORK, July 28, 2022: Morgan Lewis is representing Cohen & Company Capital Markets, a division of JVB Financial Group, LLC, as financial and capital markets advisors to special purpose acquisition company, Athena Consumer Acquisition Corp. in its business combination with Next.e.Go Mobile SE. Headquartered in Aachen, Germany, Next.e.GO develops, designs, manufactures, and markets electric vehicles.
Completion of the transaction will see Next.e.GO becoming a publicly listed company on the New York Stock Exchange. The pro forma implied enterprise value of the combined company is $913 million.
The Morgan Lewis team advising Cohen & Company Capital Markets included partners Bryan Keighery and Kevin Shmelzer, of counsel Thurston Hamlette, and associate Paul Lakkis.
