NorthJersey.com and The Record is hosting an in-person awards event for the first time since 2019 to honor the top high school athletes in Bergen and Passaic counties.
Here is everything you need to know about the 2022 North Jersey High School Sports Awards show.
When and where is the show?
The North Jersey High School Sports Awards show will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 28 at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne.
Who is invited to the show?
All Player of the Year nominees for more than 30 sports, and The Record’s “Athletes of the Week” for the 2021-22 school year, plus their coaches, athletic directors, friends and family.
Do I need to buy tickets?
No tickets are necessary, but we ask that you kindly RSVP using the form below. You may bring as many guests as you’d like.
Which awards are being announced?
Players of the Year will be announced for more than 30 different sports during the show, and seven specialty awards will also be handed out.
The specialty awards are: Female Athlete of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Female Charlie McGill Scholar, Male Charlie McGill Scholar, Coach of the Year, Courage Award and Team of the Year.
All of The Record’s “Athletes of The Week” from the 2021-22 school year will also be recognized.

The nominees have not yet been announced for the spring sports, but they will be added to that as those seasons conclude.
