Crew caught power washing business during late night hours: Bay Village Police Blotter

On May 13 at 3:54 a.m. an officer found a parked car that was still running. As he approached the car, he found there was a woman sleeping in the front seat. After waking the woman up and speaking with her, the officer suspected she had been drinking.  Field sobriety tests were administered, and the 38-year-old Avon Lake resident was arrested.

On May 10 at 1:28 p.m. a Bay Village Board of Education bus driver reported that someone had passed her stopped school bus the day before.  After a brief investigation and viewing the footage from the bus’s camera system, the woman driver was identified.  The 75-year-old Lakewood resident was cited.

Suspicious, Lake Forest

On May 11 at 8:46 a.m. a resident reported that his car was entered overnight. Officers are investigating.

Disturbance, Dover Center Road

On May 12 at 1:58 a.m. a resident reported someone was pressure washing a business.  The crew was found and advised to shut it down for the night.
