
Class for new business owners set for Monday | News, Sports, Jobs
A Smart Start class, part of the IGNITE entrepreneurial series, will be held Monday.
The class for new businesses or people thinking about starting their own business will begin at 3 p.m. in the IowaWorks building at Iowa Central Community College. Walk-ins are welcome.
It is a free class offered by the local Small Business Development Center.
Brook Boehmier, the north Iowa regional director for the Small Business Development Center, will host the session.
The class will include information on starting a business, what it takes to succeed, why businesses fail, identifying customers and market, sources of financing and determining startup needs.
