In a ceremony this week at Eisenhower High School, senior wrestler Cael Black signed his national letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at Lock Haven University.

Black, a two-time medal winner at the state finals, finished his career with a 132-30 overall record and state medals in 2020 and 2022.

Eisenhower head coach Kris Black had the pleasure of watching Cael as member of his team and as his father.

“As a coach it is always gratifying to see a student-athlete who works so hard have the success they deserve,” Kris Black said. “Cael has been committed to excelling in every aspect of this sport and his hard work has put him where he is right now.

“We are just excited to see where this journey will take him. We are glad that he found a place where he feels comfortable, with a top-notch coaching staff, and a program that has been successful on the biggest stages for decades. We are just looking forward to him being successful as possible in all avenues at Lock Haven.”
