Berks Alliance Community Development will put the spotlight on Berks Nature and The Nature Place, from 12 to 1 p.m., virtually via Zoom. Berks Nature is the leading agent for environmental conservation and preservation in Berks County. They are the stewards of more than 10,000 acres protected through conservation easements, and the owner of another 1000 acres and manager of 27 miles of trails across the region. The Manufacturers Resource Center will host a complimentary webinar, “Reducing Your Energy Costs,” from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., virtually via Zoom. Business owners/decision makers will not only be informed on the current and future energy market conditions but also be updated on some of the issues they have looked at in the past. The Small Business Resource Association is hosting a Networking MINGLE at the B2 Bistro, 710 Reading Ave., Reading, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.  Registration: https://www.sbrassociation.com/register-b2-bistro. SBRA MINGLES provide a unique opportunity to network with other small business owners. This event is free for members, $25 at the door for non-members.

Monday, September 12

The TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual “Chamber Golf Outing and Clambake” from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Hickory Valley Golf Club, 1921 Ludwig Road, Gilbertsville. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a networking lunch, followed by a shotgun start at noon followed by the Clambake dinner from Moyer’s Catering. Ticket purchase for single or foursome includes: 18 holes of golf, golf cart, complimentary use of the driving range, networking lunch, the Clambake dinner, refreshments, and goodie bag.
