Alex Caruso gets 100% honest on LeBron James’ impact on his career
Alex Caruso may have moved on from the Los Angeles Lakers, but he’ll always be thankful to LeBron James and the massive impact he has had on his career.
Speaking with Jonathan Adams of Heavy, Caruso opened up about his relationship with LeBron and how his support has given him that extra confidence to move forward in his career. James had nothing but high praises for Caruso in previous interviews, with the Lakers superstar even calling him the “GOAT” a lot of times.
While LeBron wasn’t saying Caruso is the greatest of all time, the fact is the feisty guard has earned the respect and admiration of the four-time champion.
“Anytime you have the best player in the world giving you confidence, giving you his backing it just helps the game a little bit, gives you a little more confidence going forward,” Caruso said of LeBron.
LeBron James and Alex Caruso had incredible chemistry when they were playing together with the Lakers, so it’s not surprising why the King loved playing with him.
As for Caruso, those years he spent alongside LeBron and the Lakers have paid off, allowing him to earn a four-year, $37 million contract with the Chicago Bulls in the 2021 offseason. He has also found a better situation where he has a bigger and more critical role, which has always been one of his goals since making his way to the NBA.
While Lakers fans would probably wish he’s still in LA, it’s hard not to be happy for the former LA fan-favorite.
