I love making the weeks leading up to Halloween eventful, a little scary and of course, yummy for my kids. You can be as simple or as intricate as you want when building your perfect cookie plate. Frosting, fillings, designs, semi-homemade or beautifully iced cookies can all be a part of your Halloween parties this year.
How To Decorate Halloween Cookies
When you’re deciding how to decorate Halloween cookies, it really just depends on how much time you have. If you are aiming for the best cookie on the block, try some great royal icing designs, but if you just want something fun the kids will enjoy, grab some store-bought frosting, Halloween sprinkles and let them decorate their own.
You can also use other ingredients like candy and pretzels to come up with some adorable designs. Hershey kisses are great for witches hats, Reese’s Pieces are the perfect Halloween color palate. Candy eyeballs make anything spooky fun. Pretzel sticks are great for spider legs and broomsticks.
